To maintain bio-diversity seems common sense, but the majority of human demands on the environment have a devastating effect.
There's a multitude of stories and news items that show the unrelenting consumer consequences on species deprivation, and the continuing lack of care for other life forms.
There is also evidence that changes in farming practices can improve both yeild and biodiversity without the new technologies of insecticides, pesticides, herbicides, chemical fertilizers, human and animal exploitation and the deployment of mutant crops.
Eco-farming 'helps world's poor'

Sustainable farming methods can help the poorest farmers in developing nations out of poverty, new research suggests.
Scientists found that techniques such as crop rotation and organic farming increased crop yields by an average of 79%, without risking future harvests.
